Who We Are

Premier Slickline has recently been established following a management buy out of Weatherford’s Slickline business in Romania.

All assets and people formerly at Weatherford Slickline Romania were transferred into Premier Slickline.

As such, Premier Slickline retains all the prior work history and experience having worked for all the major IOCs and NOCs throughout Europe as well as smaller local Clients.

Our Fleet

Thanks to a large fleet operating from its base in Campina (Romania), Premier Slickline is capable to carry out several simultaneous operations onshore/offshore and in the most challenging conditions including H2S service and HPHT.

Offshore Units – TIS Linx Dual Drum units, fully Atex 94/9/EC and Zone II compliant
Onshore Units – Different sizes and specs depending on application, such as Koller Slimline Winch Dual Drum

SERVICES

Routine Slickline Operations

Premier Slickline tested and efficient work procedures will always generate savings for our Clients even in case of simple routine slickline operations such as:

- Gauge/paraffin cutter – Check wellbore accessibility and remove paraffin, scale and any other obstacles in tbg
- Blind box – Dislodge a fish or push something down the hole
- Impression block – Check the shape & size of the top of fish to prepare for appropriate fishing operation
- Nipple brush – Tubing broach is used to remove scale, rust etc, from tubing I.D.
- Paraffin scratcher – Clean paraffin deposition on the ID of tubing, nipple profile etc.
- Tubing end locator – Locate end of tubing in various sizes of tubing ranging from 2-3/8” to 4-1/2”
- Tubing swage – To remove large obstructions in the tubing
- Sliding slide doors – Using “B” , “BO” or “D2” shifting tool
- Slide pocket mandrels – Kickover tools to set/remove any type of valve (gas lift, dummy, chemical injection, circulating)

Premier Slickline can perform any memory gauges operation with its own sets of fully calibrated memory gauges, ready to be run

Advanced Slickline Operations

Premier Slickline is specialized in removing wellbore obstructions to restore full wellbore access and unrestricted flow of oil and gas.

These are advanced slickline operations with high returns and will afford our Clients significant savings compared to traditional methods eg Coiled Tubing for sand or proppant removal.

High volume sand/proppant removal – With drive down, pump and hydrostatic bailers, Premier Slickline’s extensively trained personnel can remove up to several hundred liters of sand per day

Fishing operations – Premier Slickline’s asset fleet includes all necessary equipment to independently carry out fishing operations, including high power magnets, power jars, heavy duty pulling tools, overshots, LIBs, …
